| How you started |
My first RC car was a Traxxas T-Maxx. I would go to the track 5 days a week running the T-Maxx for about a month and that is when I got my first 1/8 buggy. I continued to go to the track daily and got pretty good real fast. Shortly there after I ran my first race. I had some issues and failures as it was my first time ever racing. 2 weeks later I attended another race and went on to TQ and win. 2 Weeks later another TQ and win and moved up from sportsman to Expert. It took me about 6 months to be able to get in the A main at these race events. About 2 months later I won my first expert race at the same track where I got started. Since then I have raced pretty much every weekend and have traveled all over the country racing “toy cars”. I have met tons of people and I enjoy every minute of it! |
